Terms of Service

DeepSpaceTales is a sci-fi serial reading and publishing platform for readers worldwide. By creating an account or using any feature of the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.

The platform is under continuous development; some features may change over time, and the services actually provided prevail.

You must register with a real, accurate email address and keep your credentials safe. All activity under your account is treated as your own.

To comply with content rating requirements, we ask for your birth year at registration; it is used solely to determine which rating tiers you may access.

By publishing on the platform you warrant that your content is original or properly licensed, and contains no material prohibited by applicable law. Submitted chapters go through human review; rejected chapters are returned to the author with a reason for revision.

Works are labeled with one of four ratings — All ages, 13+, 16+ and 18+. Authors must ensure the label matches the actual content.

You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service in any way, including but not limited to: using crawlers, scripts, or other automated tools to scrape or access content at scale; attempting to circumvent or reverse-engineer the platform's technical protection measures; creating multiple accounts or using false registrations or other technical means to obtain points or other benefits in bulk.

If you violate the foregoing rules, the platform may, at its discretion, issue warnings, restrict features, freeze or ban your account, and claw back points obtained through violations, and reserves the right to pursue legal liability where necessary.

DeepSpaceTales has not yet enabled cash top-ups or paid purchases; points are earned through free channels such as registration and daily check-ins, and can be used to unlock paid chapters and other in-platform spending.

New members receive a registration grant upon signing up (currently 30 points) and can keep earning points through daily check-ins and similar activities.

The platform will gradually introduce additional ways to earn points; the specific rules will be announced at that time.

Points are for in-platform use only. They are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or goods, and carry no financial attributes.

Points do not expire. If the platform adjusts the points rules (including validity), it will notify you in advance via in-site announcements and similar channels.

Points obtained through violations may be clawed back directly by the platform, which shall not be liable for any service interruption or data changes arising therefrom.

Authors retain all copyright in their work. By publishing on the platform, authors grant DeepSpaceTales the non-exclusive license necessary to display, distribute and promote the content worldwide; the license terminates automatically once the work is removed or deleted.

No user may republish, copy or commercially exploit works on the platform without the rights holder's authorization.

The service and its content are provided "as is". We make no express or implied warranty of uninterrupted service or content accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for any indirect damages arising from use of the service.

The platform may change, suspend, or terminate parts of the Service for reasons including business adjustment, technical upgrades, or legal requirements, and will give advance notice via in-site announcements wherever possible.

If you breach these Terms, the platform may suspend or terminate the Service for you (including banning your account) and remove related violating content.

Upon termination of the Service or closure of your account, remaining points in your account will be handled under the rules effective at that time, unless otherwise provided by law.

You may request account deletion at any time in account settings or through the Help Center. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel it; after the deletion is executed, the platform will process your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated versions are published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

The formation, effectiveness, performance, and interpretation of these Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, where the operator (an independent individual creator) resides.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring the dispute to a court of competent jurisdiction in Spain.
