Original Protection & Rights Guide
1. Attestation Mechanism
When a chapter is published, DeepSpaceTales automatically computes a SHA-256 hash of the full text and stores a timestamped attestation record. The hash is irreversible: it proves the content existed at that moment without exposing the text itself.
Attestation records of deleted chapters are retained for legal evidence and remain available for lookup and certificate export.
2. Watermark & Anti-Copy
Chapter pages apply invisible fingerprint watermarks and copy protection: copied text automatically carries a traceable session fingerprint, and the context menu is suppressed.
This protection is a deterrent, not an absolute guarantee: technical measures can be bypassed. Your attestation hash always remains the authoritative evidence.
3. Plagiarism Reports & 72-Hour SLA
Authors can file plagiarism reports against on-site works or external links, optionally linking an attested original chapter as evidence. The platform commits to processing every report within 72 hours and notifying you of the outcome.
You can track each report's status and SLA deadline at any time in your report records.
4. DMCA Complaints
For formal statutory takedown requests, please use the DMCA channel. DMCA submissions are processed by the compliance center and are not affected by the protection feature switch.
